As a young girl, Keri's family's vacations were adventures and led them to visit 47 of the 50 United States and most of the National Parks, from Alaska to the Grand Canyon. It was during her elementary school years that Keri started to follow in her parents footsteps with her desire for taking pictures. Though she would realize it much later, Keri believes it was then that she discovered and learned to truly see the beauty of nature around her. In her early 20's the allure of the Grand Canyon's beauty and magnificence called to her. She left her home state of Michigan and made the trek out west to live and work at the Grand Canyon National Park.
These days, Keri resides in Flagstaff, Arizona with her husband Bob. Although Flagstaff is home base, she also lives part time in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. You will more often than not find her on the rim of Arizona's 'Grand Canyon', in the forests around Flagstaff, hiking and camping in National Parks around the country, or sitting quietly by the lakes in the Seney Wildlife Refuge in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Through her award winning photography, Keri hopes to share her love of the outdoors and the beauty of this country. Take a moment to view and enjoy Keri's photos of the grandeur Mother Nature has provided. |
